The Department of English Language and Translation at the Faculty of Communication and Languages in Gaza University organized a workshop for its students on simultaneous translation. The workshop was held as part of the Simultaneous Translation course under the supervision of Mr. Imad Hamdona, the course lecturer. The aim of the workshop was to highlight the students' skills in simultaneous translation and enhance their abilities to engage in the job market. Two students, Hashem Hamdan and Omar Mahna, practically demonstrated the activity. Hashem Hamdan played the role of an ambassador from the European Union, while Omar Mahna acted as his simultaneous interpreter. The attendees, consisting of students from the department, engaged in dialogue and discussions on the topic.
