As part of efforts to strengthen academic cooperation and the exchange of expertise among Palestinian educational institutions, the University of Gaza hosted a delegation from the Association of Palestinian University Professors. The delegation was led by the Association’s president, Dr. Saed Ayesh, and its administrative director, Dr. Ghassan Al-Shami. The visit focused on exploring prospects for joint academic collaboration.

The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Raed Khader, Dean of the College of Intermediate Studies at the University of Gaza, who expressed his appreciation for the Association’s role in serving the higher education sector and fostering communication among Palestinian academics.

Dr. Khader emphasized that this visit marks an important step toward expanding the scope of joint cooperation, noting that it will pave the way for further academic and scientific agreements aimed at enhancing the quality of education, scientific research, and community service.

For their part, the members of the Association’s delegation commended the pioneering role of the University of Gaza in supporting the educational and academic landscape. They underscored the Association’s commitment to building effective partnerships with Palestinian universities, fostering integration and the exchange of expertise across academic institutions.

It is worth noting that Professor Riyad Al-Khudari serves as the International Advisor to the Association. The Association’s membership includes academics from the University of Gaza and various other Palestinian universities, and it strives to promote scientific and academic cooperation among higher education institutions at both the local and international levels.
