The Philosophy of the Faculty
Influencing and being influenced by the social environment, the Faculty of
Engineering is one of the most significant faculties, it is the output of social
environment on one hand, and on the other hand, it is one of the community tools to
create prominent engineers, who enjoy technical, professional and intellectual
leadership. Hence, each faculty has its own vision, mission and strategic goals that
strives to accomplish.
Vision:

The Faculty of Engineering aspires to be a beacon towards excellence in engineering
education and applied research in the various engineering fields at the local, regional
and global levels to contribute in the making of human civilization.

To provide students with a comprehensive and stimulating education, professional
skills, applied research, and knowledge that will enable them to succeed in future jobs
that adapt to the work environment and become leaders of tomorrow, who can deal
with the local, regional and global market challenges. The Faculty of Engineering is
market-oriented, and pertains to the needs of industry and communities, striving to
contribute to sustainable economic development through innovative research and
highly qualified personnel.
